You can choose between mainline trains and commuter trains when you travel to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport.

RER line B commuter trains link CDG to Paris city center and its suburbs,
whereas TGV mainline trains operate services from all over France.
Where to catch trains at the airport
There are two railway stations at Charles de Gaulle Airport.
AEROPORT CHARLES DE GAULLE 1
▷ RER B for Terminals 1 & 3
This station is located at Roissypole, a few minutes walk from Terminal 3.
Passengers traveling to & from Terminal 1 and 2 should take the CDGVAL shuttle train.
AEROPORT CHARLES DE GAULLE 2
▷ TGV mainline trains + RER B for Terminal 2
This station is located underneath Terminal 2, a few minutes walk from Terminal 2ABCDEF via pedestrian corridors.
Passengers traveling to & from Terminal 1 and 3 should take the CDGVAL shuttle train.

Which ticket to buy?
If you’re travelling RER from-to Charles de Gaulle Airport you need an Origin-Destination ticket, also called point-to-point ticket.
It covers your journey and any connection with the Metro in central Paris.
The costs depends upon where you’re going and how far it is between the stations you are travelling between.
Can I use a travel pass?
Paris Visite and Navigo passes can be used on RER trains.
If you settle on a pass, please note that CDG Airport is located in zone 5, so you have to buy a pass covering zones 1-5.
What to do in case of disruption?
In case of disruption on the RER B, we suggest to use Roissybus instead.
Roissybus run shuttle services between CDG & Paris-Opéra (bus stop is close to Auber station on RER A).
