RER line B commuter trains offer the fastest and most reliable transport option between Charles de Gaulle Airport and central Paris.

Travel information
The RER B runs north-south to the suburbs with all trains serving stations in central Paris.
Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles, Saint-Michel Notre-Dame and Denfert-Rochereau allow convenient connections to other Metro and rail services.
For destinations outside central Paris (e.g. Parc des Expositions, Le Bourget, Stade de France…), please note that some trains have limited stops, check the platform display screens before boarding.
Tickets
You can purchase tickets and travel cards at the airport train stations from ticket windows or self-service machines.
RER ticket covers your journey and any connection with the Metro in central Paris.
Please note that the standard Metro/Bus ticket t+ is not accepted at the airport and may result in a fine.
Where to catch trains
The RER B stops at two stations at the airport :
AEROPORT CHARLES DE GAULLE 1
▷ For Terminals 1 and 3
This station is located at Roissypole, a few minutes walk from Terminal 3.
Passengers traveling to & from Terminal 1 should take the CDGVAL shuttle train.
AEROPORT CHARLES DE GAULLE 2
▷ For Terminal 2
This station is located underneath Terminal 2, a few minutes walk from Terminal 2ABCDEF.

Which ticket to buy?
If you’re travelling RER from-to Charles de Gaulle Airport you need an Origin-Destination ticket, also called point-to-point ticket.
It covers your journey and any connection with the Metro in central Paris.
The costs depends upon where you’re going and how far it is between the stations you are travelling between.
Can I use a travel pass?
Paris Visite and Navigo passes can be used on RER trains.
If you settle on a pass, please note that CDG Airport is located in zone 5, so you have to buy a pass covering zones 1-5.
What to do in case of disruption?
In case of disruption on the RER B, we suggest to use Roissybus instead.
Roissybus run shuttle services between CDG & Paris-Opéra (bus stop is close to Auber station on RER A).
